For almost thirty years, Carla has worked in the field of natural health and personal wellness. In addition to working with individuals in a private practice setting, Carla has presented programs on stress management, relaxation and self-care to the public and to groups that include the Illinois Mental Health Counselor's Association, the Pastoral Associates of the Archdiocese of Chicago, as well as professional women, high school teachers and hospice volunteers. Throughout the years, she has also participated in Lunch and Learn programs and employee wellness fairs at local businesses.


Group Hypnosis Programs
Group hypnosis programs to stop smoking or lose weight are effective for many people. Because suggestions cannot be customized in the same way they are for individuals, group suggestions are based on the most common reasons and concerns people have about stopping smoking and losing weight.

Some people use the group program as a jumpstart and follow-up with individual sessions for reinforcement. Each participant receives a free 15-minute follow-up phone consultation to determine what additional support would be helpful.

Carla’s approach to weight loss and weight management is multi-faceted and includes a focus on body awareness and self-acceptance in addition to the necessary changes in habits and behavior.



Stress Reduction Program
Group stress reduction programs can be structured in one, two or three sessions of one-hour or 90 minutes. Each program includes simple and effective stress reduction, self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques that can be used to stay positive and focused in challenging times. This program is interactive and experiential. Each participant receives a free 15-minute follow-up phone consultation to determine what additional support would be helpful.

Introduction to Reflexology
Reflexology is a natural way to promote relaxation, relieve stress and help bring the body into balance. This is achieved through the application of skillful and systematic pressure to reflex points on the feet that correspond to every gland, organ and part of the body. This program introduces the benefits of reflexology and is available in a variety of formats ranging from a thirty-minute "Lunch and Learn" to a half-day program that includes hands-on practice.
